Hi, I’m Erick—thank you for visiting Lake Michigan Holiday – Your Home Away from Home.
I was born in Colombia and raised here in Michigan. I’m also a proud U.S. Navy veteran. Through my time in service and with my family, I’ve had the opportunity to live in and travel to some incredible places around the world. Those experiences shaped how I think about hospitality—comfort, simplicity, and creating spaces people truly enjoy being in.
My journey into short-term rentals began with Cobmoosa Shores Cottage near Shelby, Michigan—a modern, comfortable retreat just minutes from Lake Michigan. In 2019, we expanded and were excited to share Rhele’s Roost at Silver Lake Dunes, a more nostalgic, laid-back space right at the base of the dunes.
Each property offers something a little different:
- Cobmoosa Shores Cottage – modern, clean, and relaxing with private beach access nearby
- Rhele’s Roost – vintage charm, dune access, and a fun, adventurous atmosphere
We love that guests can choose the experience that fits them best—or come back and try both.
Our goal is simple: to provide a place where you can relax, make memories, and enjoy everything this beautiful Lake Michigan area has to offer—from sunsets and beaches to the dunes and local favorites.
